Terminal Cleaning Expectations and Team Accountability
Maintaining a clean, presentable terminal is a shared responsibility. Although the Facility Care Team assists with cleaning, agents are expected to maintain their work areas and address cleaning needs throughout their shifts.
Cleaning Responsibilities
Agents should proactively:
- Restrooms: Monitor cleanliness and clean toilets, sinks, and counters as needed. Replenish supplies when necessary.
- Trash: Empty trash containers when they become full.
- Counters and tables: Wipe down counters, tables, and frequently touched surfaces.
- Floors: Sweep or spot clean areas that need immediate attention.
- Employee areas: Keep break rooms, workstations, and other employee spaces clean and organized.
Team Accountability
Do not rely solely on the Facility Care Team to maintain the terminal. Agents are expected to take ownership of cleanliness and address issues as they arise rather than waiting for someone else to handle them.
The goal is to provide a clean, welcoming environment for customers and employees at all times.
