MMC Selling a Ticket Training

One of the biggest improvements with MMC is the ability for agents to sell tickets originating from Logan Airport directly through the Point of Sale (POS). No website purchase or workaround is required.

 

Steps:

  1. Select the trip
    • Enter Logan Airport as the origin.
    • Select the passenger’s destination.
    • Choose the appropriate one-way or round-trip trip and departure.
  2. Create or select the passenger account
    • Every passenger should have an account.
    • If the passenger is new, create an account with their accurate contact information.
    • Customer accounts make it easier to:
      • Contact passengers about their trip.
      • Connect lost items back to the passenger.
      • Manage stored credits.
      • Assist passengers with future transactions.
  3. Review the trip and passenger information
    • Confirm the passenger, itinerary, date, time, and fare are correct.
  4. Complete payment
    • Process payment just like any other POS transaction.
  5. Confirm the booking
    • Once payment is complete, the ticket is booked.
    • The passenger is now officially booked from Logan Airport to their destination directly through POS.
