What Is the Key Connect Program and How Does It Work?

The Key Connect Program is C&J's existing key drop service under a new name. The program uses C&J's existing valet software to manage transactions, improving organization, accountability, and consistency for customers and agents.

1. Customer Information

The customer-facing webpage provides information about the program and how it works.

Visit the Key Connect Webpage to familiarize yourself with the information customers receive so you can answer questions consistently.

2. Using Valet Software for Key Connect

All Key Connect transactions must be managed through the existing valet software, following the updated procedure.

Agents must complete the LMS training module covering the new Key Connect process to ensure they understand the updated workflow before assisting customers.

3. Using Valet Software for Handicap Parking

The valet software is also used to manage handicap parking transactions. The process is similar to Key Connect, with two important differences:

  • Valet tag display: Handicap vehicles parked in the designated 15-minute handicap area must display the valet tag inside the vehicle.
  • Parking payment: Customers using handicap parking pay when they return to collect their keys. Because they will not have a parking ticket, agents must calculate the parking fees manually using the beginning date recorded on the valet key tag.

4. Training Requirements

All agents have been emailed a link to the LMS training module covering the updated Key Connect procedure.

Complete the training as soon as possible to ensure you are familiar with the new process before assisting customers.
